uTrackMe Viewer

With uTrackMe Viewer you can track other iOS devices that are running either uTrackMe Client or uTrackMe Beacon. A full screen map shows the location of the other iOS devices.

uTrackMe Viewer is available as a universal binairy and will run on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Settings

uTrackMe Viewer has "in-app" settings for some of the most essential settings. You can get to these settings by clicking the "settings" button in the top left corner of the application. Additional, more advanced, settings can be found in the "Settings Application"; accessible from the home screen.

In-App Settings

Server Settings

Service - The tracking service used to publish your location. Either "custom" if you want to make and host your own tracking service or one of the third party services.

URL - (For custom service) URL of the publishing script. (e.g http://mydomain/utrackme.php)

Username - (For custom service) Optional username for http authentication.

Password - (For custom service) Optional password for http authentication.

Advanced Settings

User Interface

Map Type - The type of map that is shown in the application: Map, Satellite or Hybrid

Center Map On - Determines the behavior of the auto zoom function.

Refresh

Interval - The interval in seconds between requests to the server.

Timeout - The connection timeout in seconds.
